Program Overview: The UMass Turing Summer Program is a three-week summer program for High School students interested in or would like to learn about Computer Science and how computing can address challenges in areas such as healthcare, energy, and many others.

Intended Participants: The program is specifically designed for entering tenth and eleventh graders (entering sophomores and juniors) in high schools in Western Massachusetts. A previous background in programming in a language such as Python or Java is desirable but not necessary. A high-school background in mathematics is assumed for this program.
